We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Specialty Unit team at Swedish Issaquah. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and contribute to providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, identify, and prioritize patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and effective communication.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Engage in ongoing professional development, staying current with best practices and advancements in nursing care.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Washington Registered Nurse License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- At least one year of experience in Medical-Surgical nursing.
Preferred Qualifications
- National Certification in Medical-Surgical nursing.
