In our Platform Engineering division, we are seeking a Software Architect to contribute to the development of core systems that cater to our growing customer demands. Our focus is on crafting application-level solutions that bolster security, including the integration of services utilizing Kafka and SQS, implementing rate limiters for endpoints, and developing services aimed at establishing Zero Trust Security frameworks.
Collaboration:
You will work in close partnership with Product Management to identify customer requirements, collaborate with the infrastructure team to address technical specifications, and engage with Senior Engineers and Architects to influence our strategic direction.
Your Responsibilities:
As a Platform Architect, you will be tasked with designing the application architecture framework for upcoming security solutions. This role encompasses leading the technical vision, establishing best practices, mentoring fellow engineers, contributing to comprehensive documentation, and fostering innovation across engineering teams.
Your Profile:
As a Platform Architect, you are enthusiastic about promoting best practices, guiding others, and making informed technical choices. With a solid foundation in Object-Oriented Programming, extensive experience in architecting SaaS solutions, and proficiency with distributed databases, you are prepared to lead and motivate teams in creating secure and resilient solutions.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) with Python
- Over 2 years of experience in architecting large-scale SaaS solutions
- More than 7 years of experience with distributed database systems
- Experience in mentoring junior architects and engineers
- Familiarity with site reliability engineering principles and cloud technologies
Desirable Qualifications:
- Background in Identity and Access Management solutions
- Insight into security threats and defensive strategies
- Experience collaborating with teams to enhance platform capabilities
- Proven track record of modernizing legacy systems
- Strong communication skills for technical discussions
