Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and organized Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at Canobie Lake Veterinary Hospital. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing appointments, and maintaining a positive and welcoming environment for our clients and their pets.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and their pets, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage appointments, including scheduling, check-in, and check-out processes, to ensure efficient and smooth operations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring a positive and welcoming environment for clients and their pets.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a timely and professional manner, providing accurate and helpful information to clients.
  • Process payments and handle financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Work collaboratively with our veterinary team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of experience in a veterinary or medical front office setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, staff, and veterinarians.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including scheduling and practice management systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm and composed under pressure.
