As a Wholesale CRE Business Development Specialist, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth and deposit expansion by marketing commercial real estate products and services to existing customers and high-potential prospects. You will develop, maintain, and own relationships with upper-tier commercial customers, ensuring compatibility with the bank's market strategy and credit policies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to grow revenue and deposits through commercial real estate lending.
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with upper-tier commercial customers, identifying opportunities to provide additional bank services and loan products.
- Analyze and negotiate complex CRE loan agreements, ensuring alignment with the bank's market strategy and credit policies.
- Lead cross-functional deal teams, responsible for providing financial and statistical data to determine and support customer credit worthiness.
- Service existing relationships and identify products and service opportunities for other business units.
- Monitor and evaluate customer and prospect credit worthiness in accordance with established credit policies, ensuring a high-quality loan portfolio.
- Establish and maintain relationships with community-based organizations and serve the community through organizations, boards, professional memberships, and local groups.
- Represent Synovus in a positive and professional manner.
- Collaborate with colleagues to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
