Position Type: Full-time, overnight shifts.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Conducts a range of cleaning activities across various areas to ensure a hygienic, welcoming, and secure environment for patients, residents, visitors, and staff.
  • Adheres to all infection control, safety, and cleanliness standards as outlined by regulatory bodies including JCAHO, OSHA, and DOH.
Essential Competencies:
  • Exhibits proficiency in cleaning and disinfecting spaces utilized for patient care and treatment.
  • Possesses knowledge of cleaning protocols, infection prevention, and safety measures.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal oversight.
  • Adept at organizing cleaning tasks and prioritizing responsibilities to ensure efficient completion of duties.
  • Fosters collaborative relationships with nursing staff and other departments.
  • Maintains confidentiality regarding sensitive information pertaining to patients, staff, and the healthcare system.
Qualifications: No specific qualifications required or preferred.

Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred.

Experience: 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience is preferred.

Job Complexity:
  • Performs diverse cleaning tasks in accordance with established protocols.
  • Utilizes judgment, creativity, and resourcefulness to efficiently complete work and address challenges.
  • Employs sensitivity and discretion when interacting with patients, visitors, and colleagues.
Compensation: Starting pay at $18.00, based on experience.
