As a Facility Maintenance Specialist, your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring cleanliness of all shared and restricted areas.
  • Maintaining restrooms and replenishing supplies such as paper products and soap; ensuring mirrors and metal fixtures are polished.
  • Disposing of waste from all receptacles throughout the facility.
  • Dusting all wooden surfaces and work areas.
  • Organizing janitorial closets and notifying supervisors of supply needs in advance.
  • Keeping the entrances of individual units tidy and ensuring light fixtures are free of insects and cobwebs.
  • Cleaning all elevators, including tracks, doors, and floors.
  • Clearing debris from recycling and waste rooms and maintaining cleanliness in those areas.
  • Vacuuming and sweeping hallways and stairwells, ensuring they are free from debris and cobwebs.
  • Dusting all light fixtures, including removing insects.
  • Washing all windows and glass door entry areas as necessary.
  • Reporting any vandalism, damage, or items left in shared and restricted areas.
  • Assisting the Building Maintenance team as required.
  • Carrying out maintenance tasks as specified in the client service agreement.
  • Supervising and ensuring that these services and responsibilities are performed daily.
