Job Summary

The College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University seek a highly motivated and experienced Annual Giving Associate to join their Institutional Advancement team. This role will be responsible for planning, managing, and implementing a comprehensive campus philanthropy program, inclusive of leading the Student Advancement Ambassador (SAA) program, student club and organization fundraising training, departmental fundraising, campus crowdfunding initiatives, faculty and staff giving, student philanthropy, young alum giving and engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive campus philanthropy program, including managing a student philanthropy program and supporting Alumnae in Training efforts.
  • Recruit and lead the Senior Class Engagement Committee to foster a culture of giving within the senior class.
  • Collaborate with student clubs and organizations, faculty, and staff to provide training and support for their fundraising activities.
  • Supervise and support student employees within the SAA program.
  • Partner with Institutional Advancement to design and execute multi-channel fundraising and engagement strategies.
  • Work with Alumnae Relations to develop and maintain an effective transition plan for students to young alumni.
  • Design and implement a comprehensive Young Alumnae President's Circle (YAPC) program.
  • Assess the effectiveness of the SAA program, student philanthropy initiatives, faculty and staff giving, and young alumnae giving, and implement strategies to enhance overall efficiency and performance.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Annual Giving to develop and execute successful crowdfunding campaigns.
  • Work closely with IT and Advancement Systems to ensure all activities comply with policies and maintain data integrity.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least one year of experience in fundraising, alumni relations, non-profit, or sales
  • Strong verbal communication skills and ability to deal effectively and sensitively with constituents
  • Demonstrated commitment to equity, inclusion, and diversity
  • Time management skills and ability to work independently and effectively under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills that demonstrate respect for others and support for department and organizational goals
  • Ability to analyze information to identify key issues and effectively adjust
  • Proficient software skills in Microsoft Office products, email, internet, and database familiarity
