Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer Intern to join our team and contribute to our research and development efforts. The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct numerical modeling and provide mathematical support for research and development projects.
  • Assist in resolving software issues and requests from customers.
  • Support the troubleshooting and debugging of software.
  • Enhance software functionality and maintain positive customer relations.
  • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in a program related to mechanical engineering with a superior academic record.
  • General understanding of software development and knowledge of various coding languages.
  • Attention to detail and effective time and schedule management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • College sophomore or junior with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.
  • A minor degree or dual degree in mathematics, computer science, computer engineering, or physics.
  • Knowledge or experience in C++ object modeling/software development, MATLAB programming, or other coding languages.
Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $25-30 per hour, based on the location and industry standards. This is a part-time position, requiring a minimum of sixteen hours per week of work.
