Land Survey Project Coordinator

The Resource Co is in search of a dedicated Land Survey Project Coordinator. This role is a permanent, direct-hire position that offers a competitive salary range based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the precision of survey data, including measurements and calculations gathered at survey locations.
- Lead or perform surveys to define legal boundaries for properties in accordance with legal documentation.
- Oversee the preparation of all relevant data, charts, plots, maps, records, and documentation associated with surveying.
- Collaborate with engineering and architectural teams, clients, and other stakeholders involved in projects.
- Mentor assistants and supervise their activities in conducting surveys or creating maps.
- Evaluate survey objectives and specifications to prepare proposals or guide others in proposal development.
- Establish criteria for survey methodologies and procedures.
- Conduct research on surveying and mapping techniques, utilizing knowledge of photogrammetric map compilation and electronic data processing.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Progressing towards professional licensure in Virginia (S.I.T. and L.S).
- A valid Virginia driver's license is essential, along with a satisfactory driving record.
- Demonstrated experience in the surveying field (including roles such as survey instrument operator, survey crew leader, or survey CAD technician).
- Proficient in calculating proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to apply fundamental concepts of algebra, trigonometry, and geometry.
- Capability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant software, effectively utilizing these tools to enhance work efficiency and accuracy.
- Possesses a suitable level of knowledge regarding office and surveying equipment.
