Civil Project Engineer II/III

Timmons Group is seeking a Civil Project Engineer II/III to join our Land Development Group in Roanoke, VA.
The qualified individual will perform site development engineering and project management tasks for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing portions of a project using relevant office software, modeling, and Civil 3D technology
- Completing calculations using engineering formulas and skills
- Preparing specifications materials through research and manufacturing catalogs
- Working to complete design details and plan sets
- Performing research and writing objective summary reports
- Assisting in the preparation of engineering and construction cost estimates
- Completing field observation, inspection, and data collection duties
- Communicating with client staff and internal design team
Requirements include:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related degree
- Two to six years of experience in land development civil engineering, EIT preferred
- Working knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D required
