Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Bankruptcy Attorney to join our team at Clark & Washington, PC.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet with clients to assess their financial situations and provide guidance on debt relief options;
  • Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiate with creditors;
  • Review cases for accuracy and legal viability, and resolve issues related to the U.S. Trustee;
  • Research and draft pleadings, and communicate with courts, trustees, and opposing counsel;
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask, and handle multiple responsibilities with multiple clients;
  • Deadline and detail-oriented, with a focus on delivering high-quality results;
  • Previous bankruptcy experience and/or admission to the Eastern or Middle District of TN preferred, but not required;
