Bankruptcy Attorney Wanted

McMichael Taylor Gray, LLC is seeking a skilled Bankruptcy Attorney to join our team. As a leading default and creditors' rights law firm, we deliver high-quality legal services to financial institutions throughout the Eastern United States.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review motions for relief from stay for Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases, as well as objections to Chapter 13 plans.
  • Experience in Chapter 11 and adversary matters is a plus.
  • Review and interpret various documents, including deeds of trusts, notes, assignments, property titles, dockets, pleadings, and more.
  • Respond to court notifications and inquiries from clients, debtors, and debtors' attorneys.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of bankruptcy experience representing creditors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy matters.
  • Admitted to practice and in good standing in Tennessee and all federal bankruptcy courts.
  • Admission to practice in other states is a plus.
  • Experience in drafting pleadings, making court appearances, and case law research.
  • Ability to handle appearances and all aspects of creditor representation with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to balance and prioritize a high-volume workload.
