Vets Hired is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Documentation & Training Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and compliant documentation practices across the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all documentation meets industry and legal standards by adhering to regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from various departments to establish and maintain consistent documentation practices throughout the company.
  • Conduct training sessions for employees to promote efficient and effective usage of documentation processes and tools.
  • Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and ensuring audit readiness.
  • Safeguard the integrity of all documentation, maintain version control, and implement appropriate change management procedures.
  • Control access to sensitive documents to maintain confidentiality and prevent unauthorized modifications.
Requirements and Skills:
  • A degree in communication or a related field, providing a solid foundation in effective communication strategies.
  • Proven work experience of 3+ years as a Documentation Specialist or in a similar role, preferably within a federal agency or similarly regulated environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills that enable you to manage and categorize a wide range of documents efficiently.
  • The ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic work environment.
  • Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision in all documentation processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Relevant training and/or certifications as a Documentation Specialist, demonstrating expertise in documentation best practices and standards.
