Overview

Prevail Physical Therapy is a dynamic and fast-paced outpatient orthopedic clinic, specializing in the health and performance of athletes and active people. We emphasize specialty skills and services not only to provide better care, but also for clinician growth.

Compensation

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $44-55/hour, with a guaranteed pay for time worked, not billed time/visits. Additionally, we provide benefits such as medical/dental insurance (75% of employee premium), continuing education allowance ($1,000 per year), holiday pay (8.0 hours per Holiday), paid time off (minimum 2 weeks per year), unpaid time off (minimum 1 week per year), 401K participation available, reimbursement of 50% of APTA dues, and alternative transportation stipend ($100/month if commuting by means other than your own motor vehicle more than 50% of work days).

Job Description

As an Orthopedic Sports Therapist at Prevail Physical Therapy, you will be responsible for evaluating patients/clients, developing a plan of care with associated goals including quantifiable physical and functional targets, providing assessments, treatments, instructions and other physical therapy services according to the scope of practice limitations per State statute, retaining the responsibility for all delegated tasks to other licensees and support personnel, ensuring proper and adequate supervision of the Physical Therapist Assistant and support personnel, participating in professional and facility enhancement programs and activities as required by the Director of Clinical Services, ensuring proficient services through proper patient and equipment scheduling, complying with the Facility's Comprehensive Compliance Plan (CCP) which includes but is not limited to: Business & Clinical Operations, Environmental Health & Safety, HIPAA, Human Resources and Code of Conduct as well as all facility policies and procedures and educational requirements associated the CCP, complying with all local, state and federal regulations training and instruction requirements as well as any other standards that govern healthcare services provision, assisting with and/or carrying out routine cleaning, maintenance support operations of the clinic's physical plant, patient care equipment and supplies in accordance with regulatory standards and EHS policies and procedures, and carrying out EHS duties as designated policy and/or by the Director of Clinical Services.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a graduate degree from a Physical Therapy Program approved by the Commission for the Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education, be licensed to practice Physical Therapy in Washington state, demonstrate the physical and mental capabilities (practical &/or written, post-training competency test) to perform the duties required of the position, and meet the physical demand level of the position.
