Intl. Seller Growth Data Scientist, ML Expert

We are seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to join our International Seller Services team at Amazon. In this role, you will work on designing and implementing large-scale data structures for analytics and data science, developing and deploying models and pipelines that scale.
You will be responsible for gathering business and functional requirements, translating them into robust, scalable, operable solutions with a flexible and adaptable data architecture. Additionally, you will collaborate with Applied Scientists, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers to adopt best practices in ML system creation, experimentation setup, and documentation.
The ideal candidate will have experience with machine learning techniques such as pre-processing data, training and evaluation of classification and regression models, and statistical evaluation of experimental data. 2+ years of non-internship professional ML-software development experience and programming experience with modern languages like Python, Java, C++, or C# are also required.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and operate large-scale data structures for analytics and data science.
- Develop and deploy models and pipelines that scale.
- Translate business and functional requirements into robust, scalable, operable solutions.
- Collaborate with Applied Scientists, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers.
Compensation and Benefits: The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. In addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, the total compensation package may include equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation.
