ALS Training Specialist

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a highly skilled ALS Instructor to join our team. As a key member of our EMS training center, you will be responsible for conducting training and education at the advanced and basic life support levels.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct training and education at the advanced and basic life support levels in concert with the overall mission of the EMS training center.
- Provide logistical support for on-site and off-site courses, including clerical and operational functions.
- Support EMS training center leadership through teaching courses and maintaining certification requirements.
- A minimum of 2 years of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) experience in any capacity.
- Basic computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Mobile Intensive Care Paramedic Certification or Mobile Intensive Care Nurse Certification or a higher-level medical license.
- AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification or BLS Instructor Trainer.
- Minimum of 1-year Instructor experience.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification or ACLS Instructor Certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification or PALS Instructor Certification.
Lifts a minimum of 5 lbs., pushes and pulls a minimum of 25 lbs., and stands at least 3 hours daily.
