Job Summary
As a Diagnostic Cardiology Sonographer at South Lake Hospital, you will perform diagnostic cardiology testing under the supervision and direction of the Operations Manager. This role is ideal for a skilled professional with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a dynamic healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct 2D Echocardiography, Exercise Stress Echocardiography, and Dobutamine Stress Echocardiography tests with precision and accuracy.
Recognize normal and abnormal cardiac anatomy and physiology, maintaining accurate and precise documentation of patient records.
Participate in hospital CQI initiatives and function in a supervisory capacity when requested.
Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and assist with clerical duties as needed.
Requirements
ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS) certification, depending on assigned department.
BLS certification and experience as required under established current ARDMS or CCI guidelines.
