Job Summary

Orlando Health is seeking a skilled Sonographer- Maternal Fetal Medicine to join our team. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic sonographic exams and providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as sonography section leader and represent ultrasonography to the Imaging Services Manager.
  • Work closely with Radiologist, Perinatologist and/or Cardiologist to perform diagnostic sonographic exams.
  • Exercise professional judgment in performance of services and maintain a demeanor complimentary to quality care.
  • Deliver appropriate care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring successful completion of procedures.
  • Comply with all state and federal regulations applicable to each modality.
  • Adhere to Orlando Health mission statements and commitment to excellence standards.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in applied science and graduate of an accredited school of sonography.
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) registered through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
  • Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider certificate.
  • For Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography - Must maintain ARDMS physics registry and ARDMS OBGYN registry.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine sonography with knowledge of routine ultrasound procedures.
  • NTQR certifications: Cervical Length Education and Review (CLEAR), Nuchal Translucency, and Nasal Bone.
