Ambulatory Care Nurse Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Ambulatory Care Nurse to join our team at NYU Langone Health. As an Ambulatory Care Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive care to patients in an ambulatory setting, including administering medications, performing diagnostic tests, and developing patient-centered plans of care.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure optimal care and support.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices, technologies, and research to provide evidence-based care.
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing (highly preferred) or Diploma or Associates Degree in Nursing with plans to earn a baccalaureate degree.
- Current Registered Professional Nurse license in New York State.
- Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association.
- Fluent written and spoken English language skills.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Membership in pertinent professional organizations.
