Role Overview

This position requires an experienced and compassionate individual to assist the lead teacher in implementing daily activities and lessons for children in a daycare, toddler care, or preschool setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the lead teacher in planning and delivering engaging curriculum plans that meet the individual needs of each child.">
  • Support children's social-emotional development through positive interactions and guidance.">
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.">
  • Provide supervision and ensure the safety of children at all times.">
  • Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop behavior management strategies that create a positive and inclusive learning environment.">
  • Assist in mealtime routines, including feeding and promoting healthy eating habits.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in early childhood education or related field preferred.">
  • Previous experience working with young children, preferably in a daycare, toddler care, or preschool setting.">
  • A strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.">
  • Familiarity with working with children with special needs, including autism or other developmental disabilities.">
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.">
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.">
  • Patiently and empathetically working with young children.">

Compensation

">

This is a part-time or full-time position with a competitive hourly rate of $15-$18 per hour.
