Food Runner

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Food Runner to join our team at Wynn Resorts. As a Food Runner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our In Room Dining service, providing exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.
Key Responsibilities- Food and Beverage Service: Transport food from the kitchen to guests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that all dishes are presented in a visually appealing and appetizing way.
- Guest Service: Provide exceptional guest service, responding to guest needs and requests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Table Maintenance: Set, maintain, and clear guest tables, ensuring that all areas are clean and well-maintained.
- Stocking and Supply Management: Restock all mise en place before, during, and after service to ensure that the service team has all the necessary tools to fulfill their roles.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize all areas of the restaurant, including floors, carpets, and service stations, to maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and staff.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with the host/hostess, servers, and other staff members to ensure seamless service and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Age and Gaming Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age and obtain and maintain registration or a license issued by the Massachusetts Gaming Commission.
- Education and Experience: High school degree or equivalent preferred; minimum 3 years of food runner experience and sanitation knowledge preferred.
- Language Skills: Conversational English required; second language a plus.
- Mathematical Skills and Reasoning Ability: Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations and decipher various reports.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; must be able to lift or maneuver at least 50 pounds.
The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with moderate to loud noise levels in the kitchen and back-of-house areas. Must be able to interact with internal and external guests in a professional manner and work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
