  • Prepare conceptual engineering deliverables, including cost estimates, design criteria, and statements of work.

  • Conduct thorough walkdowns of existing facilities to inform design documentation and provide on-site support.
  • Deliver innovative technical solutions to complex engineering challenges, adhering to established practices and standards.
  • Oversee building evaluations, seismic assessments, and modifications, as well as manage external engineering firms.
  • Create structural drawings and calculations for various construction materials, ensuring compliance with specifications.
  • Plan and manage engineering design activities, including scope development, scheduling, budgeting, and inter-discipline coordination.
  • Execute detailed structural designs for both minor and major infrastructure modifications.
  • Review architectural and engineering designs to ensure alignment with project requirements.
  • Provide field support during planning and construction phases, ensuring adherence to design specifications.

Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Over 10 years of relevant experience in Structural Engineering.
  • Strong technical knowledge and application of engineering principles and codes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Willingness to work in a dynamic production environment.
  • U.S. citizenship and eligibility for security clearance.
  • Successful completion of drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Q clearance.
  • 20+ years of professional experience in the field.
  • Experience with CAD drafting and 3D modeling tools.
  • Familiarity with structural modeling software such as STAAD.Pro.
