Position: Commercial Jobsite Project Tech
Location: Austin, TX
Compensation: $28/HR
As a Commercial Jobsite Project Tech, you will deliver exceptional service in a secure, responsible, and professional manner, aiming to surpass client expectations. You will also engage in a personal development plan to achieve your individual objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Execute assigned project tasks on commercial HVAC systems according to the defined scope.
- Collaborate effectively with the Project Team to accomplish tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Provide regular updates on project status and requirements to the Project Supervisor.
- Ensure high-quality workmanship and craftsmanship in all tasks.
- Uphold a safe and organized work environment, including the appropriate use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and well-stocked company vehicle.
- Manage and organize company-issued tools and equipment.
- Accurately complete timecards and document service activities.
- Communicate with clients regarding arrival and departure times on-site.
- Maintain consistent communication with the project team, Project Dispatcher, and Project Supervisor.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial or industrial HVAC.
- Valid tech registration with TDLR.
- EPA Universal Certification.
- Proficient in basic troubleshooting and system analysis.
- Possess basic hand tools, such as gauges, meters, screwdrivers, wrenches, and pliers.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and smartphone usage.
- Ability to work independently while supporting team dynamics.
- Motivated and committed to the company’s vision and customer service.
- Willingness to pursue training and expand industry knowledge.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
- Capable of passing a background check and drug screening.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving experience.
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment, parts, and tools exceeding 50 lbs.
- Capability to work on ladders, lifts, and at elevated heights.
- Willingness to work in confined spaces.
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures, both hot and cold.
