Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Manufacturing Technician to join our team at RTX. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating production equipment, ensuring flow, spray angle, and quality of spray meet product specifications and tolerance levels.

Key Responsibilities:

* Learn how to set up and operate test stands to check nozzles, spray bars, and valves for spray quality, angle, and flow according to specifications
* Learn how to set up and operate laser markers and printers according to procedures and specifications
* Record spray parameters by serial number and certify product conformance through test and records performance results by serial number
* May learn how to disassemble, repair, and assemble products according to specifications
* Accurately complete production documentation and perform necessary labor transitions
* Support and follow all rules, guidelines, and standards set by EHS, Quality, and CI functions as set by your leader and position

Requirements:

* Typically requires a high school diploma. In the absence of a high school diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience is required
* U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here
* Manufacturing background preferred
* Manual dexterity to perform tasks associated with assembly and calibration
* Ability to learn how to read and understand prints
* Ability to learn basics of the position within first 3 months of employment
* Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees and management
