Key Responsibilities:

We are in search of a Maintenance Mechanic who will take on the duties and meet the goals set forth by the Maintenance Foreman and other management personnel.

  • The ideal Maintenance Mechanic will be tasked with diagnosing and rectifying issues with plant machinery, systems, and equipment.
  • Responsible for the upkeep and repair of all production machinery, including pumps, pasteurizers, high-pressure pumps, evaporators, stills, and valves.
  • Maintain and repair auxiliary equipment such as boilers, air compressors, ammonia compressors, thermal storage units, condensers, vacuum pumps, ammonia refrigeration systems, air conditioning units, conductivity meters, and fluid meters.
  • Handle chemicals necessary for the operation of support equipment.
  • Fabricate and manufacture equipment to meet production requirements.
  • Must possess experience with 480-volt, 3-phase electrical systems, including troubleshooting motor starters and control circuits.
  • Experience with instrumentation is essential.
  • Welding skills, particularly MIG and TIG, are required.
  • Experience in machine shop operations and pump repairs is necessary.
  • Fabrication expertise is a must; a Fabricator Journeyman certification is highly preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a Maintenance Mechanic role.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Availability to work all shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed.
