We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team at Dairy Farmers of America. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, processing incoming shipments, and providing administrative support to our maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including tracking parts, tools, and equipment.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Process incoming shipments, verify quality, and ensure timely receipt of parts and materials.
- Administrative Support: Provide day-to-day administrative support to the maintenance team, including generating receivers, pairing work orders with parts, and performing cycle counts.
- Expense Monitoring: Monitor and track expenses related to equipment and maintenance activities.
- System Maintenance: Assist with maintaining and managing the Computerized Maintenance Management System to ensure accurate and detailed information is stored and retrievable.
- Vendor Management: Update and maintain the vendor list to ensure accurate and timely communication.
- Safety and Compliance: Understand and apply company safety policies, GMPs, and other applicable regulations and programs.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software systems.
