Key Responsibilities:
- Support the maintenance of the general ledger, including preparing financial schedules, crafting journal entries, and reviewing general ledger coding on invoices.
- Oversee the corporate closing process for all entities, ensuring precise monthly accruals.
- Collaborate with Regional Accounting Offices and Controllers to ensure accurate financial reporting for new practices, including balance sheet setups and adjustments.
- Guarantee the accuracy and completeness of various records and accounts, including balance sheets and fixed asset records.
- Manage the fixed asset system effectively.
- Assist in the review of monthly Practice Reporting Packages for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare monthly consolidated balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Provide financial analyses as required.
- May serve as a mentor for junior accounting staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a minimum of five years of experience in public accounting or corporate accounting.
- Experience in the healthcare sector is preferred.
- CPA certification or completion of CPA exam sections is advantageous.
