About the Role

At Ulta Beauty, we're seeking a highly skilled and passionate Prestige Beauty Advisor to join our team. As a Prestige Beauty Advisor, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving sales in our prestige category.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performance: Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, retail shrink, and omni-channel sales, with a focus on the prestige category and iconic brands.
  • Guest Service: Ensure every guest receives exceptional service by providing a guest-friendly environment, greeting and engaging every guest, personalizing service to their needs, and recommending complementary products and services.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Courteously handle sales, refunds, and exchanges, and maintain a thorough knowledge of prestige products, including ingredients and benefits.
  • Services and Events: Routinely perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and guest service experience, and book appointments for and support the execution of services and in-store events.
  • Training and Development: Regularly participate in ongoing training, including prestige and iconic brand product training, to enable continuous professional development and drive prestige sales performance.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma is preferred, and a cosmetology, esthetician, or demonstrators license is required where state law dictates.
  • Experience: 1 year of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience is preferred.
  • Skills: Demonstrates a passion and significant competency for prestige product, guest service, and selling, with strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Working Conditions
  • Frequent mobility throughout the store during shift.
  • Frequent standing, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, and twisting during shift.
  • Continuous lifting and/or moving up to 10 lbs. during shift.
  • Continuous coordination and manipulation of objects during shift.
