Job Description:
CompuRay Medicals is seeking a skilled and adaptable Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist to join a dynamic team at a hospital in Park Ridge, IL. This position offers an opportunity to enhance your expertise in interventional radiology procedures, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment. While neuro experience is a plus, it is not required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in a variety of interventional radiology procedures, including diagnostic and therapeutic imaging.
- Operate and maintain interventional radiology equipment, ensuring patient safety and quality imaging.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other medical staff to provide comprehensive care during procedures.
- Prepare patients for procedures, providing education and ensuring comfort throughout.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
- Be available for on-call duty 12-15 days per month, ensuring prompt response for emergency or after-hours procedures.
- ARRT certification (Interventional Radiology preferred).
- State licensure in radiology technology.
- 1+ year of experience in interventional radiology.
- Experience in neuro interventional procedures is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to varying cases in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
