Job Title: Lease-up Community Director

Join FPI Management, Inc. as a Lease-up Community Director and take on a challenging role in the multifamily property management industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a small asset/property, managing a staff of up to 5 Full-Time Employees (FTEs), and ensuring the property meets the Client's operational and financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and enhance the value of the property/asset, managing lease expirations and timely turnover to maximize revenue potential.
  • Supervise all on-site staff, including Assistant Community Director, Resident Services Coordinator(s), Compliance Specialist(s), Leasing Manager, Leasing Consultant(s), Maintenance Supervisor(s), Maintenance Technician(s), Make-Ready or Rehab Technician(s), Groundskeeper(s), Painter(s), and Housekeeper(s).
  • Manage the maximum revenue potential of the property through effective leasing and occupancy strategies, ensuring completion of monthly Market Surveys and analysis.
  • Develop and implement advertising and marketing strategies for the apartment community, overseeing and exhibiting professional leasing techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with various department requirements, including Risk Management, and maintain current permit, licensing, and inspection requirements.
  • Assist residents with reporting of maintenance needs, documenting facility and maintenance needs, and ensuring timely completion.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar leadership role, preferably within Residential Property Management.
  • High School diploma or equivalency certificate required. College degree in a relatable field preferred, but not required.
  • May Require a Valid Driver's License, as well as: a good driving record, current motor vehicle insurance which meets State requirements, and an operable vehicle that meets FPI's Driving Standards and Personal Vehicle Use policy.
  • Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, Google Apps, property management-related software, email, internet).
