Job Summary:

As a Respiratory Therapist at Trinity Health, you will play a vital role in providing therapeutic procedures and diagnostic testing to chronically and acutely ill patients. Your expertise will ensure an environment of patient safety, promote evidence-based practice, and quality initiatives, and exhibit professionalism in the care of patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide Respiratory Care to patients with diverse needs and conditions.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information and treatment plans.
Collaborate with physicians, house staff, and other healthcare disciplines to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Maintain current knowledge of respiratory therapy equipment and techniques.

Requirements:

Successful completion of a 2 or 4-year Respiratory Care Program or equivalent experience.
Ohio Respiratory Care Professional License to practice in the State of Ohio and National Board of Respiratory Care credential indicating RRT or CRT.
Clinical experience in adult and neonatal respiratory therapy procedures, including aerosolized delivery of medication, mechanical ventilation, and pulmonary function studies.
Current BLS certification.
