We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Beebe Healthcare. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with various medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic procedures in accordance with established professional and departmental standards.
  • Review consultation requests and consult with radiologists as necessary.
  • Complete all departmental processes for resulting and documentation of exams.
  • Prepare, calibrate, and document radiopharmaceuticals for administration.
  • Perform in vivo and in vitro diagnostic Nuclear Medicine procedures according to established protocols.
  • Maintain a daily activities log and ensure appropriate storage and ordering of supplies.
  • Monitor and report supplies in shortage and special order items.
  • Perform visual preventive safety inspections and conduct daily quality assurance tests on all equipment.
  • Identify any problems and communicate to the immediate supervisor.
  • Evaluate recorded images for technical quality and demonstrate anatomy under investigation through proper positioning.
  • Provide radiation protection to patients, staff, and self according to prescribed safety standards.
  • Recognize emergency situations, initiate code procedures, and administer first aid or CPR as needed.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (AMA) Nuclear Medicine Technology program or equivalent.
  • Must complete Point of Care testing training as part of General Orientation.
  • Competencies Skills:

    • Able To Keep Confidential Information Regarding Patients, Team Members
    • Able To Withstand Crisis Situations
    • Has Skills To Provides Customer Service To Patients, Team Members And Visitors
    • Knowledge And Experience With Electronic Health Records
  • Credentials:
    • BLS - Basic Life Saving certification
    • ARRT-N OR CNMT Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Education:
    • Associates Degree in related field
Compensation:

Entry: USD $33.12/Hr.

Expert: USD $51.34/Hr.
