Position Overview:

The Client Engagement Specialist (CES) plays a pivotal role in fostering and nurturing enduring client relationships through the consistent provision of competitive loan products and exceptional loan servicing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with clients to follow up on pending cases and upcoming renewals, collaborating closely with Senior Management to enhance business volume.
  • Assess loan opportunities, evaluate credit risks, and present actionable loan commitments and agreements with competitive rates and terms tailored for Agent/Broker clients.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of borrower financial statements and policy illustrations, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of competitive offerings in the market.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, establishing trust and accountability throughout the loan process.
  • Monitor and manage a designated portfolio, including collateral positions, cross-over dates, and necessary notifications.
  • Lead regular territory portfolio status calls with management to discuss actionable items and account statuses.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including the Chief Business Development Officer and Chief Administrative Officer, to manage new cases and renewals effectively.
Essential Duties:
  • Oversee quoting, underwriting, and pricing to ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Maintain high levels of customer service, ensuring timely delivery of necessary documentation and information.
  • Build and sustain productive relationships with clients to drive sales for the life premium business unit.
  • Participate actively in Territory Meetings and coordinate customer calls.
  • Ensure adherence to all operational guidelines and manage potential risk factors.
Qualifications:

Required:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and a solid aptitude for mathematics.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.

Preferred:

  • Experience in commercial insurance and financial services.
  • Demonstrated success in internal sales and relationship management.
