Overview

The Security Officer is responsible for safeguarding the entire facility, both indoors and outdoors. This role involves responding to all incidents or calls concerning the safety and security of individuals and property within the premises. Officers are expected to exhibit outstanding customer service skills and maintain a professional demeanor while representing the organization. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct regular patrols throughout the facility to deter criminal activity and address any identified security or safety concerns.
- Respond promptly to reports of disruptive behavior, disturbances, and emergencies, including internal or external alarms.
- Understand, adhere to, and enforce organizational policies and procedures.
- Enforce relevant State and Local laws/ordinances to ensure the safety and security of all individuals and property on-site.
- Prepare and submit all required reports in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide escorts for monetary transfers as per facility guidelines.
- Secure personal belongings of patients upon request.
- Facilitate non-monetary escorts for staff, visitors, physicians, and patients to ensure their safety and security.
- Manage parking operations on the premises, with a focus on critical and emergency parking areas.
- Achieve assigned objectives and goals.
