Job Summary

Stream Realty Partners is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to manage the flow of information for our tax return process at both the state and federal levels. This role will work closely with our Tax Manager and other internal teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of tax returns.


Responsibilities
  1. Manage the flow of information for Stream's tax return process at both the state and federal levels.
  2. Assist the Tax Manager with various tax and accounting tasks throughout the month.
  3. Work with outside tax preparer to ensure Stream is in compliance with changing IRS standards.
  4. Review new entity agreements for entity structure, TMP, and other items.
  5. Monitor status of tax return reviews to ensure deadlines are met.
  6. Keep updated with tax regulations, industry developments, and best practices.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • CPA or eligible with 2 parts passed
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of and experience with partnership tax returns
  • Knowledge of GAAP
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Yardi or Workday software experience is a plus
  • Ability to exhibit a high level of confidentiality and high attention to detail
  • Commercial real estate experience is a plus

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, plus benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan with company matching, and paid time off. ]},
