Rydell Company Inc. is in search of a Body Shop Customer Support Agent to enhance our Body Shop operations and ensure our clients receive outstanding service. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic and professional environment.

Work Schedule and Compensation

Availability for afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts.

Compensation ranges from $15 to $18 per hour, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome clients and assist them through the post-accident process, either in person or via phone.

- Clarify written estimates to clients.

- Submit glass claims to insurance for approval.

- Maintain daily communication with clients through email or phone to keep them informed about their vehicle repairs.

- Solicit feedback from clients after the completion of vehicle repairs.

- Collaborate with the Estimator and Body Shop Foreman to stay informed about clients' vehicles.

Qualifications

- A minimum of 1-2 years of prior customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

- Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse clientele while demonstrating empathy for their often stressful situations.

- Confidence in managing high volumes of client requests with minimal supervision.

- Capability to read and interpret documents such as safety regulations, operating instructions, and maintenance manuals.

- Proficiency in writing routine reports and correspondence.

- Excellent listening and communication skills, a high level of initiative, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.

- Basic knowledge of MS Office; proficiency in computer software, internet usage, and general math skills.

- Experience in estimating, body shop, or automotive fields, as well as familiarity with insurance companies, is a significant advantage.

- Professional appearance in line with body shop policies and dress code.
