  • Design, code, test, debug, and document projects and programs, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to company standards.
  • Analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions to identify tactical and strategic business objectives, technical challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Make informed decisions on technology solutions, influencing and leading technology teams to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives.

  • Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor, providing guidance and support to team members.
  • Execute feature requests, hygiene tasks, and new enhancements for automation or system enhancements within the IaC space.
  • Establish additional standards and patterns, ensuring consistency and quality in automation deliverables.
  • Promote applications and services that drive efficiency and cost savings, integrating with cloud services providers such as Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals, including managers, to drive business outcomes and technical excellence.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the product backlog for engineering teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical capabilities.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of Systems and/or Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • 5+ years of experience in automation tooling and engineering, utilizing Ansible, Chef, Puppet, and/or Salt.
  • Knowledge of one or more major Cloud Services Providers (CSPs) such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform and their primary web service offerings.
  • Knowledge and understanding of enterprise compute, networking, and storage systems.
Desired Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience working in an agile environment.
  • 3+ years of experience with Terraform.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas.
  • Knowledge and understanding of application and web security.
  • Knowledge and understanding of security and systems automation.
Job Expectations
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed.
  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.
