Senior Accountant

At Jobot, we are a dynamic B2B Software enterprise with a workforce exceeding 700 professionals. The Senior Accountant will be an integral part of a collaborative team dedicated to supporting our essential accounting and financial operations.

The ideal candidate will possess over 4 years of expertise in month-end closing processes, bank reconciliations, audit preparation, budget and variance analysis, as well as revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606. A CPA designation is highly desirable.

Position Overview
Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting tasks, including bank and credit card account reconciliations, coordination and execution of annual audits, and reviewing financial reports as required.
  • Assess and communicate financial status, including income statement variances, budget preparation, and analysis to management.
  • Ensure compliance with ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls over accounting and financial procedures.
  • Manage full cycle revenue processes, including deferred revenue and cost capitalization.
  • Enhance systems and procedures while initiating corrective measures as necessary.
  • Collaborate with auditing services to guarantee adherence to all regulations.
  • Oversee daily financial operations, including payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.
  • Monitor the company's financial performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • CPA certification is a significant advantage.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a Senior Accountant capacity.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ASC 606, revenue recognition, and variance analysis.
  • Strong grasp of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • High proficiency in financial management and accounting software.
  • Excellent analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude.
  • Leadership experience and employee management capabilities; familiarity with data privacy standards.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comprehensive understanding of business principles and practices.
  • Exceptional organizational, planning, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methodologies.
  • An analytical mindset with a comfort level around numerical data.
