Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the administrative, clinical, financial, and employee relations aspects within the Child and Family Services Division.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor both new and existing personnel; foster a cohesive organizational culture and inspire staff to achieve essential operational goals.
  • Formulate, assess, and enhance policies, procedures, and workflows related to Child and Family Services to ensure compliance with State, Federal, and accreditation standards.
  • Evaluate trends and billing practices, making necessary adjustments to optimize the profitability of Child and Family Services; track departmental activities and propose strategies for enhancing performance and productivity.
  • Apply evidence-based methodologies for clinical quality assurance.
  • Present measurable outcomes to management and external stakeholders concerning processes, marketing efforts, and clinical efficacy.
  • Act as the agency's representative to external stakeholders, provider organizations, and professional boards, showcasing comprehensive knowledge of the services offered.
  • Manage operational hours and resource allocation in relation to program and agency needs.
  • Facilitate and engage in scheduled staff meetings.
  • Provide leadership assistance to various sites as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Operational Leadership:

  • Supervise and coordinate caseload distribution, ensuring productivity among clinical staff.
  • Complete program metrics and manage necessary reporting.
  • Promote services to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain a consistent focus on enhancing performance, quality, and efficiency of work processes and services.
  • Monitor regulations from DBHDS and Medicaid to ensure compliance and implement necessary changes.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid license as a Clinical Psychologist, LPC, LCSW, or LMFT in the State of Virginia.
  • A minimum of two years of management or leadership experience is required.
  • At least three years of clinical experience in providing services such as conducting assessments, reviewing assessments, supervising staff (both individually and in groups), developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing individual and family therapy, including crisis and behavioral interventions.
