We are seeking a dedicated Full-time Float LPN to support our Primary Care and OBGYN clinics. Your Responsibilities:
As a Float LPN, your daily tasks will include:
- Ensuring a safe and clean environment by adhering to infection control protocols and quality improvement standards.
- Assisting with patient flow, including welcoming patients, preparing them for examinations, and accurately recording vital signs.
- Recognizing and reporting any abnormal findings or emergencies to the appropriate healthcare provider.
- Administering prescribed medications and vaccinations while maintaining proper storage and disposal of medications.
- Gathering clinical documentation and managing medical records as required.
- Documenting clinical tasks and navigating electronic medical records efficiently.
- Collecting specimens for laboratory testing and ensuring patient confidentiality.
- Educating patients and their families about care processes and available resources.
- Collaborating with team members to enhance patient care and support.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A current nursing license to practice in Louisiana.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
Work Schedule:
This position operates during daytime hours.
