Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to patients, including IV therapy, under the direction of a registered nurse.
  • Direct and assist ancillary nursing staff with assigned duties.
  • Interact with the multidisciplinary team and other personnel to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Demonstrate professional responsibilities and contribute to a positive patient experience.
Requirements
  • Current licensed practical nursing (LPN) license in the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Preferred: IV therapy credentials.
Work Environment

The LPN will work in a fast-paced environment, providing care to patients in a primary care setting. The incumbent will be exposed to blood, body fluids, and tissue, and may be at risk for occupational exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous medications.
