Production Operations Supervisor

Team Overview and Job Responsibilities
- Achieve production targets and make informed quality decisions during shifts.
- Implement the operational plan for shifts by process area, prioritizing ware movement and production needs.
- Reallocate staffing resources in response to current demands or changes.
- Oversee the MRR queue.
- Monitor, assess, and enhance individual operator performance.
- Conduct and present end-of-shift turnover meetings.
- Ensure all products comply with the standards set by the Plant's Quality Management Systems.
- Adhere to all relevant safety protocols and ISO14001 EMS guidelines.
- Perform month-end inventory counts as necessary.
- Act as a leader on the site spill team, leading the plant evacuation team, and serving as a first responder.
- Guarantee that all products meet the specifications outlined by the Plant's Quality Management Systems.
- Management experience in the optical fiber cabling sector is preferred.
- Must demonstrate a focus on quality and customer satisfaction, be adaptable, and enjoy engaging with customers and visitors.
- A motivated team player who contributes to a positive work environment.
- Exhibit strong administrative skills, effective time management, and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Capable of maintaining composure and professionalism in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's Degree is preferred.
- A minimum of two (2) years of management experience in a manufacturing setting is required.
