Position Summary:
The Retail Sales Specialist serves as the primary customer service representative within the store.
They play a crucial role in surpassing customer expectations by actively listening to their needs, identifying suitable products, delivering comprehensive product insights about the items of interest, and successfully finalizing the sale.
Core Responsibilities:
Achieve and surpass sales targets
Uphold brand and operational standards (including visual presentation, cleanliness, etc.)
Address customer needs and exceed their expectations by adhering to the UNIQLO service standards, following the UNIQLO Fundamental Principles, and utilizing the 6 standard phrases.
Function as a cashier when required, following established cashier procedures
Handle incoming shipments and ensure all merchandise is displayed on the sales floor in a complete size range
Collaborate with management to identify and resolve store-related issues
Offer product and brand knowledge to customers
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, reporting any infractions to management
Assist with special projects as directed by management
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Excellent communication abilities
Proficiency in calculating figures and amounts, such as discounts and percentages
Flexibility to work a schedule that aligns with business needs, including evenings and weekends.
Availability for a minimum of 30 hours per week.
Capability to stand for extended periods, read computer screens, and lift or move objects weighing at least 25 pounds
Ability to navigate the sales floor and stockroom effectively, including repetitive bending, prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, squatting, and climbing
Compensation:
$17.50/hour**The offered salary or salary range is determined by various factors, including overall experience, relevant experience, education level, certifications, applicable skills and expertise, and job location.
