Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Operations Manager to join our team at BioSpace, Inc. This role will be responsible for managing corporate income/franchise taxes, tax accounting under ASC740, and other compliance-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage corporate income/franchise taxes, including tax return preparation and filing
  • Reconcile tax accounts and prepare corporate tax provisions
  • Prepare income tax disclosures for publicly issued financial statements
  • Manage state and local tangible property tax returns and other business filings
  • Monitor tax legislation updates and prepare memoranda on quarterly basis
  • Manage tax credits and incentives, including research and development tax credit
  • Support tax controversy and internal controls, including SOX compliance
Requirements
  • 7 years of experience in tax operations or a related field
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with tax software and ERP integrations
