About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Commercial and Residential Management Group (CRMG). As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for performing daily upkeep and maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of our apartment community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, landscaping, and janitorial duties.
  • Assist in the maintenance of the property's exterior and interior, including landscaping, parking lot, and trash areas.
  • Operate a pressure washer and other equipment as needed.
  • Perform tasks under the guidance of experienced maintenance technicians.
  • Work independently or as part of a team to complete tasks and projects.
Requirements
  • One (1) year of experience in a maintenance technician role or two (2) years of previous maintenance experience, preferably in property management for commercial or multi-family properties.
  • Janitorial experience is preferred.
  • Motivation, time management, and ability to follow instructions.
  • Intermediate knowledge of landscaping, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, drywall installation and repairs, and installation and repair of flooring.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Knowledge and experience using a vacuum cleaner and other janitorial equipment, both manual and power, and handling chemicals with close attention to safety rules.
  • Available for after-hours emergencies.
  • Reliable transportation capable of transporting necessary tools, including power washing equipment.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand written and verbal communications and directions.
  • Understanding and administration of landlord/tenant laws, State and Federal Labor Laws, Fair Housing Laws, and refraining from all illegal discrimination practices.

  • Competitive hourly rate of $25-$30.
  • FT, Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM schedule.
  • 40 hours of weekly contracted hours.
