Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Expo Team Member to join our team at Bento Asian Kitchen and Sushi. As an Expo, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare food set ups and read tickets to ensure accurate and timely delivery of orders
  • Comply with Bento's quality standards and national food safety standards to maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Properly handle kitchen equipment and appliances to prevent damage and ensure efficient operation
  • Clean and sanitize work areas during and after shifts to maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization
  • Restock, log, and discard product appropriately to minimize waste and ensure inventory accuracy
  • Assist fellow team members with tasks whenever able to promote a positive and collaborative work environment

Requirements:

  • Must be 16 or older
  • Commitment to continuous learning and growth to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
  • Able to remain calm and communicate effectively during stressful situations to provide excellent customer service
  • Able to hear, see, and speak to effectively interact with customers and team members
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance to represent Bento Asian Kitchen and Sushi in a positive light
  • Able to stand or walk up to eight hours at a time to meet the physical demands of the role
  • Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. to move equipment and supplies as needed
