Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Director to lead our Pharmacy department at Sarah Bush Lincoln. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic direction and operational management of the department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement departmental goals, objectives, and policies in alignment with the hospital's strategic plan.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the pharmacy staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and hospital policies.
  • Manage departmental budgets, resources, and personnel, ensuring efficient use of resources and effective allocation of staff.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in the department.
Requirements
  • Licensed Registered Pharmacist with a strong background in pharmacy management and leadership.
  • Proven track record of success in leading high-performing teams and driving business results.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
