Position Summary:
The Clinical Director plays a pivotal role in managing the clinical functions and treatment initiatives at the facility specializing in substance use disorders. The Clinical Director is tasked with enhancing the facility's offerings while ensuring adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements.

Core Responsibilities:

Leadership and Oversight:
  • Guide and mentor the clinical team, which includes therapists, counselors, and support personnel.
  • Establish and enforce clinical policies, procedures, and treatment guidelines to uphold care quality.


Program Innovation:
  • Direct the creation and execution of evidence-based treatment programs for substance use disorders.
  • Assess and refine clinical initiatives to boost patient outcomes and satisfaction levels.


Clinical Guidance:
  • Offer clinical supervision and mentorship to staff, ensuring compliance with best practices and ethical standards.
  • Facilitate regular discussions with clinical personnel regarding case management and treatment strategies.


Quality Management:
  • Evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of treatment programs and services.
  • Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations, accreditation requirements, and facility protocols.


Collaboration and Engagement:
  • Work in partnership with medical staff, administrative teams, and external organizations to coordinate patient care.
  • Act as a representative between the facility and community entities, fostering awareness and education regarding substance use treatment.


Financial and Resource Oversight:
  • Assist in the management of the clinical department's budget, ensuring efficient resource utilization.
  • Supervise the acquisition of clinical supplies and equipment.


Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related discipline.
  • Licensed in the state as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of clinical experience in a mental health treatment environment, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership capacity.

  • Thorough understanding of substance use treatment methodologies and clinical best practices.
