Job Title: Reliability Maintenance Manager

The J.R. Simplot Company is a leading global food and agriculture company with a strong commitment to innovation and excellence. We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Maintenance Manager to join our team.

Job Summary

The Reliability Maintenance Manager will be responsible for leading the implementation and management of a progressive and integrated Reliability Centered Maintenance and Equipment Reliability Improvement process in our product processing organization. This role will play a key leadership position in creating and managing change in the organization, driving step change improvement of plant reliability, and championing the continued move from reactive to proactive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Member of the Maintenance leadership team: Assist in developing and implementing strategies to identify, prioritize, and implement proactive maintenance and asset reliability improvement processes and projects.
  • Develop, monitor and manage performance against defined metrics.
  • Optimize preventative maintenance program.
  • Develop vulnerability list and asset criticality ranking process.
  • Provide project management support for Engineering and Maintenance Excellence.
  • Assist in development of the Maintenance and Reliability teams.
  • Utilizes leadership and expertise in the principles of Root Cause Analysis and Reliability Centered Maintenance to create an environment of continuous, aggressive defect elimination program that drives asset reliability improvement.
  • Work with engineering and OEMs to develop equipment and installation standards.
  • Work with Project Management to ensure the reliability and maintainability of new and modified installations.
  • Assist in developing design / installation specifications and commissioning plans.
  • Assist in developing criteria for and evaluating equipment and technical MRO suppliers and maintenance service providers.
  • Develop acceptance tests and inspection criteria.
  • Participate in the pre-startup safety review of new installations.
Requirements
  • Typical Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A or B.S) From a 4-year college or university, or 15+ years related experience Engineering degree preferred.
  • Relevant Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in production, maintenance, engineering, or project management.
  • Certified in predictive / preventive maintenance (military experience qualifies).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multi-functional teams.
  • Training and knowledge of predictive maintenance technologies (vibration analysis, infrared, ultrasonic, etc.).
  • Experience with RCA/RCFA/RCM practices preferred.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulation preferred.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills (Including the ability to present information to a formal group).
  • Required Certifications: CMRP, CRE, CRL certification preferred.
