ECPI University is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Assistance Advisor to join our team. As a Financial Assistance Advisor, you will play a critical role in providing financial aid support and advising services to students, ensuring their educational goals are met.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Aid Support: Provide financial aid support and advising services to students, including explaining financial aid eligibility, application procedures, and financial assistance programs.
- Financial Data Analysis: Collect and analyze financial data on students to determine financial aid eligibility and make awards within federal, donor, and institutional guidelines.
- Student Communication: Answer questions, inquiries, or requests from students, parents, or guardians regarding financial aid programs and eligibility.
- System Generated Reports: Analyze system generated reports to verify continued compliance and eligibility of students receiving aid under federal and institutional guidelines.
- Interface with Stakeholders: Interface with students, lenders, employers, and/or Student Services staff to resolve concerns.
- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience: 2-3 years of related experience.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CampusVue Student database, and AI tools preferred. Well-developed oral and written communication skills, excellent organizational and analytical skills, and ability to quickly master new methodologies, technologies, and systems.
